WebSonos released version 12.2 just today. That now ADDS support for LPCM for Sonos Arc. The Sonos Arc will now understand LPCM 5.1 and 7.1 sources. It is the same as the Sonos Arc supporting Dolby TrueHD 7.1, even if physically it is only a “5.2.1” system. The older Sonos playbar will only ever do DD 5.1 because it is optical.
