WebD&D works best with more than two players. You can still do it, but it's not ideal. I suggest taking a look at the D&D cooperative board games (Castle Ravenloft, Wrath of Ashardalon, and Legend of Drizzt) instead; those can be played with two players, and it's kind of like D&D-lite. I did this last night when one of my players was absent. I just assigned her sheet's permissions to another player who ran her character in addition to her own.
