That means they can be thinner, leading to space inside the enclosure for an extra platter.

WebHelium filled drives are usually more expensive to make, so you should be able to buy air filled ones once they start pushing more unreliable technologies (SMR, for example, or HAMR) to save the cost to fill the gas and weld the drive lid.
