Start it up and watch what happens. If it blows back out the intake there is something wrong in the engine. If it starts up and runs until the fuel runs out then it's a carb problem. WebMay 26, 2024 · Cleaned it all out, checked the carb and intake side of the head to make sure it was clear, checked to make sure there was a strong spark, and checked the rockers to make sure they were tight and no rods appeared bent. Turned it over for a couple seconds, and I'm pretty sure I got flames out the carb when it backfired this time.
